I'm Out For Dead President's to Represent Me

Thank you white, slave-owning presidents of yesteryear for I have the day off from work due to your collective accomplishments. So far I have spent it eating fish tacos (fish tacos are one of my many vices) and uploading music onto an external hard drive.

Yeah, it's been a minute since I last blogged. I know, I know. I've broken my New Year's resolution. Fuck it.

Pulled Over By The Cops-Authority

Since I started blogging again I made it a point to not just post new songs. There are plenty of other blogs for that. But then I came across this song. I've been a big supporter of all things Freddie Gibbs for the last few months and when I noticed he was involved in a side project my interest was piqued. The side project being a "supergroup" by the name of Pulled Over By The Cops. Why the sarcastic quotation marks? Well, it involves The Cool Kids who I had previously thought were grossly overrated and some guy named Chip The Ripper that I had never heard of before. Fortunately, their first joint entitled "Authority" is pretty damn promising. Initially I was surprised to see Gangsta Gibbs team up with The Cool Kids (considering they were championed as the leaders of the electro-rap movement) but it seems to work.
